Why does the Slide app need permission for my location?

With your location, we can determine when sunrise and sunset is for you. No need to constantly change routine times for all your Slides to match seasonal change of sun hours. It’s one less thing to worry about!

Launching our app and setting up your Slide device for the first time is when the location permission option first appears. It is not mandatory to provide your location within the app, though if you chose to opt-out, you would change routines yourself.

To change location preference:  1) launch the Slide app and select the dotes top right corner, then manage households. 2) Within this page, under Household details, select location. 3) Options of use Current location, Enter location manually and Don't use my location choices will appear. 4) Once selecting the best-fit option for you, save details and that's it. 

Enjoy your curtains opening and closing automatically alongside sunrise and sunset based on your location, wherever you are in the world!
