1. I didn't receive a verification email

1. First wait for a few minutes. Sometimes it takes some time before the email arrives
2. Check your spam folder
3. Check if you enter the correct email address. Simply go back one step in the app to check.
4. Try using a different email address. If you’re using an unusual email address, our server might not receive it correctly. Try it with a well known address, such as @gmail.com, or @hotmail.com


2. I didn't receive an email to change my password

In 95% of the cases, this is because a wrong email address was entered.
1. Firstly, double-check if you entered the correct email address.
2. Wait for a few minutes. Sometimes it takes some time before the email arrives.
3. Check your spam folder


3. I can't manage to invite somebody to my household

In most cases, this is because there is already an account set up with the email address that you’re trying to invite. It’s not possible to invite an already existing account to your household. 
Currently, having different email addresses for a single household doesn’t have added value yet. In the future, we will add a feature, that allows the curtains to automatically close when everybody has left the house. Of alternatively, let the curtains open when somebody comes home.
However, it’s possible to log in with one account on different devices and control your Slide.
If you still want to add an already existing account to your household, this account needs to be deleted first, so that it can be added as a new account. Please send us a message to support@slide.store so we can help you with this.

4. I keep getting "Error: 403 - User Does Not Have The Right Roles"

If this happens to you, you can bypass this by doing the following:

1. Right click the link that you received in your mailbox
2. Open a new  Incognito/Private Window in your browser
3. Paste the link in your address bar and press enter

How to open an incognito screen in your browser:

1. Click 'File'
2. Click 'New Incognito Window' /  'New Private Window'.
