Do I need a smart home for Slide to work?

It is not necessary to own other Smart Home devices, as Slide functions independently alongside the Slide app. Because Slide works directly with WiFi, no additional gateways are required. 

However, we are adding support for an increasing number of Smart Home devices. Please take a look at our product page for more information about integrations.
