I need to change the WiFi setting in my Slide device
Currently, you will need to factory reset the device in order to change the WiFi credentials, please note we'll add an option the change the WiFi credentials within the app in a future update.
First try to reset Slide directly from the app, using step 1 below. If however, your Slide is no longer connected to the home network and therefore no longer has an internet connection, you will need to complete step 1 but also physically reset the Slide device. For this follow step 2, further below.
Step 1: From the Slide by IIM app
If your Slide is already connected to the Slide by IIM app, simply choose the Slide you want to factory reset. Continue by clicking on the gear icon in the right top corner, then click Factory reset.
WARNING: Factory resetting Slide will mean Slide would have to be completely reconfigured again.
Step 2: Using the reset button
The reset button is placed in an opening on the bottom of Slide, opposite the opening with the light. Use something like a paperclip to push and hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds. Slide will return to factory settings and the light will start pulsating (going on and off slowly). The hard reset is now complete.
